As of today, Brian Bell is officially retiring as Eccleshill United's Match Day Secretary, a role that he has given an incredible amount of dedication and passion to throughout his time with the club.

Brian will be stepping down from the role for the forthcoming season, but will certainly still be involved with the Eagles as a beloved figure behind the scenes, Brian has put in countless hours in order to help the Eccleshill United grow and his time and effort is appreciated by everyone involved with the club.

Speaking of Brian's departure, club Chairman, Adrian Benson said: "I would like to thank Brian Bell who is retiring from the position of match day secretary for all the years of support, hard work and commitment."

At this time Eccleshill United would like to warmly welcome Ian Armstrong to the role, who will be taking on all Match Day duties for the club's return to the NCEL Premier Division.

Ian is a well-known figure behind the scenes at the club and has put a tremendous amount of work in during the Eagles' promotion season, something which was recognized at the presentation evening when Ian won the 'Clubman Of The Year' award.

On his appointment, Adrian Benson said: "A warm welcome to Ian Armstrong who is taking over Brian's role as our new match day secretary."
