Following a run of injuries and suspensions, The Eagles have made some smart signings and have acquired some quality additions to the squad.

Eccleshill United FC are proud to announce three new signings, the club have been busy working on deals to bring the three new players in, and now we are pleased to announce they have officially signed.

Firstly, the club have secured the services of vastly experienced goalkeeper Mark Bower from Albion Sports. Bower adds some stability to the defensive line, and will hopefully end The Eagles search for a first team goalkeeper.

Another NCEL Premier Division player has joined the ranks at Eccleshill, in the form of midfielder Matty Waller from Liversedge FC. Waller is an exciting talent and a tricky midfielder, his skills and traits should help him settle quickly at the Mitton Group stadium.

Finally, The Eagles have landed the signing of Chris Lever from Thornton United. Lever can play midfield or up front, and his versatility will help the club in the long run.

Eccleshill have been plagued with injuries and suspensions to key first team players recently, but they will be boosted by these signings, and the fact that Andy Cooper has returned from holiday and is ready to play again for the team.

The Eagles are looking to get back to winning ways, and bagging three points in Westella on Saturday afternoon could be the catalyst in a pre-Christmas turnaround.
