Read on to see how the manager reacted to Saturday's top class performance in Castleford.

Following his sides convincing 3-1 away win at Glasshoughton Welfare on Saturday afternoon, gaffer Sean Regan was delighted and shared his thoughts after the final whistle.

To begin with, Sean talked about the positive result, and how it was a perfect response to the previous match which was a disappointing loss to Selby Town; "Thats correct, we wanted it but didn't naturally get it in the first half, we struggled a little bit with the condition of the pitch, but we came out with a positive result after working hard to get it."

A change of system in the second half seemed to spark Eccleshill into life, and speaking on that, Sean stated; "We changed our system at half time because we were finding it hard to keep the ball and so with us dropping into four in the midfield, it allowed us to play out and keep the ball a little bit better."

Marcus Edwards netted a brace in the win, and is starting to find some form in what has been an injury plagued season. Sean discussed his importance and how his work ethic has helped him recently; "Marcus has always been dangerous. His attitude, commitment, and desire are all spot on."

He added; "He makes certain runs and chases things down now, and all these things accumulate to his performances being a lot better, and obviously today he's contributed two goals which helped us get the points."

Finally, Sean talked about his sides aims for the end of this season and the approach to next season; "I think we can experiment and I have done, and we're always looking to improve. We go into the last two games of the season hoping to win both because we want to accumulate as many points as we can."

He went on to say: "Chris Lever isn't available next week so the players on the pitch have to do a different job, but we'll just see how we cope with the next two games and take it from there."

The Eagles face fellow mid-table side Winterton Rangers at home on Saturday afternoon, hoping to claim another three points in the penultimate game of the season.
