Weekend's goalscorer Tom Rose spoke to the club's media after The Eagles disappointing defeat to Handsworth Parramore.

The midfielder started the interview by talking about his goal, and feelings on the overall balance of the game, saying, "Happy to get my first goal this season - thought I took it well, I'm just disappointed with the result - it was a tough one to take after being 2-1 up at half-time,

We should've pushed on in the second half, but we didn't perform anywhere near as well as we did in the first half - we didn't look after the ball well, and I didn't feel like I had a good game as I gave the ball away a lot - it's disappointing."

Tom has had a few games under his belt now since rejoining the club from Yorkshire Amateur and he told all on his feelings since being back, "It's felt really good yeah, I've enjoyed it - back to enjoy playing football, and there's a great set of lads here, I get on really well with everyone, I get on well with the new lads (players Rose didn't play with last season) - haven't got know them that well yet, but I'm sure a few more games and I'll get to know how they play and stuff."

Finally, Rose kept it short and simple when looking ahead to the next two games, and seemed dedicated to bounce back, "I think if we perform like we can then we can get results against both, two sides we should be looking to beat," Rose explained.
