Eccleshill United are back in action this weekend, looking for consecutive victories for the first time this season.
It has been an inconsistent start to the season so far for Eccleshill United, but coming off the back of a derby day victory against Campion A.F.C should see the Eagles head into this weekend's game with plenty of confidence and momentum.
The midweek game against Eccleshill's local rivals was about more than just the result, with the performance being exactly how Sean Regan would like. Full of passion and commitment with the squad ironing out the small mistakes that have cost them so far, this season.
That victory catapulted the Eagles to 12th in the table and now the squad will be looking to string a run of performances and results together, starting with the first back to back wins of the campaign.
Regan should have a full squad at his disposal, although there could be problems at the back after both Scott Manning and Carlton Pownhall were forced off against Campion through injuries. But with the likes of Liam Hudson and Liam Bartle available, the squad depth will certainly come into play; with quality running through the full squad.
Offensively, Regan will once again be boosted by the fact he has all his attacking to pick from and after scoring a brace midweek, Chris Lever will be hoping to put in another man of the match performance to continue his impressive start to the season.
Goals have come from everywhere in the squad so far, this season though, and current top scorer Ben Hardy will be aiming to add another to his impressive tally of four. The winger has made a brilliant return to the club this season with consistent performances, providing a different option to the attack.
Through the middle Andy Cooper and Charlie Flaherty have continued their excellent partnership and that is something the two experienced midfielders will hope to continue on Saturday, linking the play to both the wide men and directly to the strikers.
Opponents, Worsborough Bridge Athletic have had a difficult start to the season, having not picked up a win since its opening day of the season victory against Glasshoughton Welfare. Worsborough have only gained a point since that result, a goalless draw Retford United and therefore they too will be travelling to Bradford desperate for a win and are set to push the Eagles all the way in what should be another thrilling game at the Mitton Group Stadium.
