The Eagles are back in action this week traveling to Winterton Rangers in what is set to be a very difficult test for between two sides pushing for promotion.

Eccleshill United finished March undefeated, something they will be aiming to continue in the final month of the season, but after a frustrating 2-2 draw away at Worsbrough Bridge Athletic, the focus for Sean Regan's men will be ensuring that three points are secured.

Winterton Rangers is also looking to bounce back from a frustrating couple of results after suffering back to back losses in their most recent outings, but considering they sit just two points outside of the Play-Offs, the game is of crucial importance to the hosts.

Eccleshill, on the other hand, will be aiming to stretch the gap between themselves and third place Grimsby Borough to five points, making the most of the game in hand that is in the Eagles favour.

An earlier meeting between these sides saw Sean Regan’s side put in a lackluster performance at home, which Winterton capitalised on to take all three points in a convincing 3-0 win. The Eagles squad will be eager to ensure that a repeat of that performance and result won’t happen on Saturday.

Despite their shaky last outing, The Eagles are still very firmly in the promotion picture and know that a positive result will give them a major boost heading into the final stretch of the season.

Jonny Irving returned to his very best goalscoring form last month, scoring three goals in as many appearances, proving why he is such an attacking threat, whilst Zeph Thomas has made an immediate impact since joining the side.

Scott Manning will be serving his one-game suspension following his red card, and Andy Cooper will once again be unavailable, but this fixture will see a return for Matt Mathers after serving his ban last week.

As well as that, the Eagles squad now boasts another new name, with Regan signing Nostell's Edward Busfield, who will add yet more quality to the side.

With a lot at stake in terms of their promotion battle, Eagles gaffer Sean Regan will be hoping to see his players put in a positive performance, and bring all the points back to Bradford with them to keep them in firm contention for automatic promotion.
