One of Eccleshill United's longest serving players, Charlie Flaherty is a fan favourite at the club due to his never say die attitude and the effort he puts in on the pitch.

The 2016/17 Managers and Supporters Player of the Year has been one of the Eagles strongest players ever since he first joined the club.

His hardworking style means that Charlie never gives up on a game and will chase down every loose ball and battle for every 50/50.

Confident with the ball at his feet and with fantastic passing range, Charlie can be deployed in both central midfield and out wide; making him more versatile.

Strong in the tackle and in the air, Charlie is always prepared for a battle and often does the 'ugly' side of the game that at times goes unnoticed, but never underappreciated.
