DUKE OF EDINBURGH AWARDS:

EISFC SPORT IN THE COMMUNITY PROGRAMME:

EISFC is committed to identifying good practice in relation to the generation of social and community value.

The Club aims to provide:
  1. facilities which can help meet the social.
  2. sporting, recreational and educational needs of different sections of the community.
  3. To create opportunities to achieve excellence in sport.
  4. To support young people in ways that will enable them to make a valued contribution to the local community.

The Club aims to assist and support the players in making a valued contribution to the local community. We do this by setting good examples of standards, behaviour and practice throughout the club and actively promote good attitudes amongst players, parents and coaches.

As part of the Clubs commitment to assist with the educational needs of the players we are commencing a programme whereby players will be able to partake in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.

7 players from EISFC U16 are set to embark on the Duke Of Edinburgh Awards Scheme, which will see them achieve personal goals and also contribute to the community in which we reside.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the players and it demonstrates the committment of the Club with regards to the educational needs of the players. It also demonstrates the fact that EISFC is geared towards the Community.
