On Saturday 14th June, teams from Surrey and beyond will descend upon King's Lane, as they seek to take home the Bedford Shield.

This event is always a firm favourite among locals, drawing crowds upwards of 1,000.

Each team will play a minimum of three games across two pitches, with sides finishing top of their group going on to play for the shield, with the remainder entering the plate competition.

The first test of the 2017 Lions tour against the All Blacks will be shown live in the Clubhouse on our 70" TV.

Team Entries

• You may enter up to 12 players in each squad
• Games are sevens minutes each-way
• If a knockout game is level after normal time, play will resume following a short break, and will be decided by the 'Golden Try' method (i.e. first team to score a try)
• Groups will be drawn at random and any changes are at the discretion of the organisers
• Referee's decisions are final
• The entry fee is £60 per team
