This weekend saw our second team face a tough opposition in the form of Lowca ARL at Gillfoot Park. It was the Egremont team who took the spoils 36-6, try’s being scored by Lee Cruden, Peter Bewsher, Kevin Brown, Anthony Leak and 2 being scored by Luke Charlton. Captain Tony Hetherington chipped in with the boot with a successful 6 from 6 conversions for a 12 point haul.
Overall it was a great team performance by the lads, who all chipped in to get the win, showing the great team spirit we have this year and hopefully long may this continue as we continue our push for a top 4 finish.
This was the first game Egremont were able to don there new kit and everyone would like to pass on their thanks to all of the kit sponsors especially main sponsor Tony Roberts Carpets for supporting the team and allowing us to wear our new kit with pride.
