After the Easter weekend break its back to business for both of our open age sides, our 'A' team were scheduled to have an amateur cup fixture against Salterbeck Storm, on Wednesday 8th April, unfortunately Salterbeck are unable to raise a side so have handed the game to Egremont, who now progress into the next round. Fortunately we do have some live Rugby league this weekend to wet the appetite first up our first team face a long trip down the road to take on the reigning champions West Hull, West's currently have a record of 1 win from 1 and will be a real test for our boys, however they will be heading down to humberside in high hopes after the last outing for our first team saw them book a place in the prestigious national cup final.
Never the less if you are looking for something closer to home the 'A' team take on local rivals Kells at Moresby rugby union in the Iggesund Cumberland league, the young Egremont team will be looking to come away from the fixture with two league points following their last outing which saws them beat Kells 66-6 in the cumbria shield. Get up to Moresby and support the lads.
