Festival of Rugby and Real Ale - Festival of Rugby and Real Ale
The Ellingham and Ringwood 10th Annual Rugby and Real Ale is taking place this year on Good Friday 06th April!
Entry to the touch rugby competition is FREE and you don’t need to be an experienced rugby player to be involved. Teams are five- a- side (max ten in a team) and as its touch rugby can be male, female or mixed but for safety reasons players must be 16+. After the morning play off rounds teams are seeded into a cup, plate or bowl competition, giving players of all standards a chance to win the prizes of free beer and to add to the fun its all played in fancy dress! Prizes of free beer are also given to the team with the most imaginative fancy dress outfits.
We will have the usual BBQ and hog roast plus lots of surprises to celebrate our 10th Anniversary! In the beer marquee we have over 30 different real ales and 30 ciders for you to try, as well as a ‘Wine and Pimms’ stand the more refined!
This is a great day out and as you can imagine with no entry costs, has become very popular over the years! Team places are limited and are on a first come first served basis so if you would like to enter a team please email sharon@errfc.com and let me know as soon as possible.
