Ellingham & Ringwood III 20 - Andover veterans 16

Our 3rd XV put in a determined performance to achieve a hard earned win at home to Andover veterans.

Andover started strongly with two penalties and a try to build up an 11-0 lead, but tries from Ben Traynor and Rob Ford (pictured) reduced the deficit to 11-10 at the break.

Scrum half Aaron Barker kicked a penalty early in the second half to give us a 13-11 lead, but and Andover try put them back in a 16-13 lead. With time running out centre Brad Evans scored a good try under the posts, which was converted by Aaron Barker to complete a 20-16 victory.
