Muriel Nelson Retires from Ellon Rugby

Ellon Rugby are very sad to see Muriel Nelson, our club physio retire.

After 10 years dedicated service at Ellon Rugby, Muriel Nelson has decided to retire at the end of the season. Muriel has worked with all sections of the rugby club, helping the juniors, youth, adults and seniors, with all aspects if rugby injuries and recovery.

President Richard Porteous said "we would all like to thank Muriel for her dedication and support over the years". "Without her here to put us together again, we would have struggled"! James Young, representing the adult teams, thanked Muriel by saying "without your help, my career in rugby would have been much shorter"! Ellon Rugby will be looking to arrange physio cover on match day from third and fourth year students from University in Aberdeen, and week day recovery from local Physio company "Ellon Physiotherapy".
