With too many teams in Caledonia 3 N last year, they have added a couple of teams and created Caley 4 N also. Ellon Second XV form a part of this league this season and will compete against 8 other teams:

Strathspey
Fraserburgh
North Police
Highland 2nds
Garioch 2nds
Huntly
Mackie 2nds
Aberdeen Wanderers 2nds.

The league sees Highland resurrect a Second XV this season, along with Huntly being back in the fold. Wanderers and Garioch are hoping they can manage to for fill their fixtures this season as they have re-entered the league. The totally new team is Fraserburgh who have spent the last 10 months building up the makings of a team. They could possibly be playing their fixtures in Boddom, just south of Peterhead.
Ellon Second XV start off with a home draw against Strathspey on 6th September, and will end the season against Wanderers at home also at the end of February.
