Elmbridge RLC was formed over 10 years ago and was one of the founding members of the RLC. Previous names include Surrey Squirels and more recently Kingston Warriors.
Over the years Elmbridge has enjoyed a fantastic youth project, coordinated and coached by Reg Pearce, more recently with a greater input from our friends at Quins and has produced superb players such as Iain Morrison and Glen Osbourn. Iain was the first RLC player to sign for a Super League side, Huddersfield Giants, and with the nickname of ‘Drago’ has continued to impress since signing in 2001.
Rugby League has been the biggest growing sport in London and the South East of England. The commitment and support from Harlequins has been phenomenal and has definitely played a key part in the development of the club over the last couple of years. The club has doubled in size and is growing from strength to strength each season.
Elmbridge RLC prides it self on success and this season saw many of its’ young players selected for Origin and Regional through out the age groups. We also have several players at Harlequins Academy.
New players always welcomed.
We are a friendly and exciting club for all ages from mini’s (U9’s/U11’s) U12/13/14/16/U18’s to Open age with matches every weekend. We have a dedicated management & coaching team which includes Chris Baxter from Harlequins who are always on hand to offer their expertise. For further information contact the age group team manager
