Injury updates

Following on from the injury sustained towards the end of the game against Gorleston on 25th August Jamie Thurlbourne has been ruled out for the rest of the season after scans have shown the player has ruptured his ACL and torn ligaments in his knee and will therefore require an operation. Everyone at the club wishes Jamie all the best in his recovery from this.

In other injury news Adam Dalby sustained a foot injury away to Histon and is likely to be unavailable for up to another month. Lewis Hook injured ankle ligaments in the same game on 21st August and is likely to be out for another 2-3 weeks at least.

Alex Theobald is still recovering from a groin injury picked up in pre-season but is hopeful to return for the reserves later in September. Liam Griffin who has also been out since pre-season after breaking his toe is in line to return for the reserves this Saturday. Daniel Jeffrey missed Saturdays game at Great Yarmouth due to a back problem and is a doubt whether he will be fit for Saturdays FA Vase game.
