Enderby CC - 2011 & 2012 Junior League Cup Champions - Leicester Mercury Report 2011

Enderby have landed the first leg of what they hope will be a notable double.
They beat Lutterworth Seconds by 214 runs in the final of the Everards Junior Cup
They are also on course for promotion from Division Three of the Everards County League.
John Willett and Steve Coulson put them on course for victory with an opening partnership of 235.
Skipper Coulson was out for 89 but Willett went on to make 130 and Neil Mackey added a quickfire 42 not out as Enderby rattled up a massive total of 322-5 from their 40 overs.
Lutterworth were soon in trouble in their run chase and were eventually bowled out for 118.
Opening bowlers Chris Conway and Leon Viggars took two wickets apiece and Coulson claimed three with his off-spin.
Coulson said: "We didn't expect to win that heavily. But it was hot and it's always difficult chasing a big total in those conditions."
Enderby were Division Four champions last season and they are on course for another promotion. In their last match, they moved to within one point of Division Three leaders Loughborough Carillon Old Boys by gaining a winning draw against them.
In a match played on the main ground at Loughborough University, Enderby slipped to 83-5.
But Steve Coughlin hit 91 and, with good support from Viggars, steered the visitors to 207-6 from their 45 overs.
Carillon Old Boys made a good start to their run chase but Coulson took 6-46 and they closed on 189-9.
Enderby also made good progress in this season's County Cup, reaching the quarter-finals in which they gave Kibworth a real fright.
Now they will be looking to clinch a place in Division Two next season and their next chance to press their claims will be when they travel to Ibstock Town Seconds tomorrow
