Enderby 2nds bounced back with a solid winning draw against a dissapointing Bitteswell side who refused to chase down this tough target and instead closed up shop for the draw early on.

Winning the toss, Skipper Moore had no hesitation in batting first on a very warm day and despite losing opener Noray early for just 2, Lane, Morris and Blanksby all registered half centuries and Moore adding a quickfire 23 at the end pushed the score up to a daunting 242-6.

Despite plugging away, Bitteswell had no intention of chasing down the target. Moore being the pick of the bowlers rattling through 14 overs for just 1 wicket and conceding only 24 runs when he deserved more. Harrison, Blanksby, Morris, Astley and Monksfield also prodcing tidy spells for little reward as Bitteswell limped to 168-4.

Overall a 17 point haul is not to be sniffed at but its always a shame when a game is played out in these circumstances.

MOM - Lane for his 55 and tidy keeping behind the stumps
