We have arranged a one off match in Oscars honour against Haringey Rhinos RFC (his old club). The match is going to be 30 min each way with rolling subs. The fixture is not a pre season game and it is a one off match to mark the occasion. If you want to play then please notify Doddie ASAP as he has agreed to arrange the team. This is in no way a 1xv fixture and we are looking for players from all teams past or present who played with Oscar at some point of time and would like to honour him by having a run out. The winning team will be receiving the “Oscar Nel” Memorial Shield.

Kick Off time - 15:00

All bring the family down and support a great day and join in on the festivities. There is going to be a jumping castle, BBQ and loads of beer late into the evening. This date would have been his birthday so let's make it a special day. Oscar’s wife will be over from South Africa on this date and will also be in attendance.

Haringey’s clubhouse will be open from about 14:00.
