There has been a number of changes at the club which we have had to consider in planning this season: we have now moved back to London North West 2 (Lever transfer) and this means a new set of opposition; there is the small matter of the World Cup; and after nine years I have stood down as President and Mick Collins has taken up the reins. I don't want to steal his thunder so I am just giving you the preliminary planning details, and he will be in touch with the details for confirmation etc.

World Cup - In essence the clubhouse is open for all England and Ireland weekend games - and don't miss the opening clash against Fiji (ko 8pm) on Friday, September 18th. Other details to follow.

World Cup Lunches

Initial plans are for a late lunch/early dinner on the 3rd October. The first team are at home against Tabard when the kick-off time is 2.00pm. With England not kicking off until 8.00pm, the plan is to have a meal at around 5.00pm.

Depending on the success of the October 3rd venture, and England's progress, there will be space for other "dinners".

Current plans are for the following dates:

12th December - Opposition Old Merchant Taylors
20th February - opposition Old Haberdashers
16th April - Opposition Fullerians
