ENFIELD IGNATIANS, keen to move up the rankings in London Two North-West, have bolstered their squad for next season by announcing four new signings.

The quartet are prop Dom Nott, flanker Liam Dunne (see photo above) plus Luke Haverly and Michael Hall, who are both able to cover more than one position.

The common thread linking the quartet is their prior experience of playing for Bedfordshire County, with three hailing from the Biggleswade club.

Coach Shane Manning said: "Being able to have four quality players join the squad for this season is a really big boost. Having worked with them previously, I know first-hand what they are capable of.

"Dom Nott is an excellent loose head prop and scrummager whereas Liam Dunne is an out and out openside flanker, who tackles like a demon and is also great with the ball in hand.

"Michael Hall covers the 8,10 and 12 positions and is a very destructive ball carrier, whereas Luke Haverly, equally at home at full-back or fly-half, has an excellent kicking game.”

“We have a good squad but would always welcome more players, it's a long season ahead and we will need every player to stand up and be counted if we want to achieve our goals."
