There has been further good news for Enfield Ignatians following the announcement that Inn On The Green is to sponsor the senior section for a second season, writes Jonathan Landi.
Chairman Glyn Jones said: “We are grateful that Inn On The Green has decided to support us for a second term, and greatly value their support. It is our firm wish that we can again prove successful together.”
Both parties cemented their ongoing relationship with a photo shoot at Inn On The Green on October 14.
Following sterling work by finance committee member Mickey Piper,
Inn On The Green pledged their initial support prior to the 2008-09 season, and the relationship has continued to grow.
Passionate Munster fans, Inn On The Green’s Mick and Ann Fallon, are regular attendees at club functions, and the club has similarly appreciated their hospitality, and particularly during the televised British Lions games in the summer.
A popular venue for Ignatians’ players, and particularly after games, Inn On the Green has developed a real rugby tradition, and was even used as the venue for a Heineken Cup advert.
However, club members wishing to exercise their grey cells are reminded that Inn On The Green also runs some popular quiz nights. See Hugh for details.
