Eppleton Under 15s win Durham Cricket Board Shield Cup.

Eppleton Under 15s against Philadelphia Under 15s in the DCB Shield Cup final ended up in a tie after both teams scored 120. Eppleton won the toss and elected to bat posting 120-3 from 20 overs. Philadelphia picked up the key wicket of Charlie Ord when he was dismissed for 17 from the bowling of Haliday. But it was skipper Joe Blacklock who led the way for Eppleton hitting an unbeaten 51 from 51 balls backed by 25* from Nyle Davis.

Jamie Pattision picked up 2 wickets for Philadelphia while Halladay picked up 1.

Eppleton got off to a good start when Lewis Carney was caught in the second over for 10 however Alex Davison hit an unbeaten 51 along with 25 from Greg Halladay. The Bunker Hill side looked like winning until Jack Ribchester was ran out for just 16 in the last overs.

Philli then needed 3 to win off the last ball but unfortunately could only manage 2 as the 20 overs came to an end.
