I would like to thank everyone who came up to the club yesterday to support all the boys and girls at our awards presentation.
In glorious sunshine we witnessed 2 great games. First the mini’s took on their parents, and showed all their silky skills as they eased to victory. It was great to see so many new faces, and I hope they found the experience great fun and will continue playing. The juniors against the dads and coaches was a little more physical and I am sure that those who don’t play are feeling a little stiff today, although it is great to get one over on your son!!

As for the awards, each of the mini’s received their medal, plaque and certificate, and the beaming smiles were a joy to see. For the juniors, after the joke awards were given out, the following picked up a trophy.

Most improved player of the year: Josh
Players Player of the year: Jordan
Coaches player of the year: Freddie.

It was also announced that the coaching team have submitted details for Zach, Jordan and Freddie to go forward for Kent trials later this year which is an amazing achievement that everyone in the club is proud of.

This DOES NOT signal the end of the season, we will continue for as long as the boys and girls are interested. For the next few weeks we will make the training light-hearted and play a bit of football, cricket, baseball etc.

Finally, please remember that the club will be open again from 8am on Saturday to show the much anticipated 2nd test between New Zealand and England. The breakfast was excellent and well worth getting up early for.
