Big Win for U14s in Sunny Troon
Ten tries saw the U14s beat Marr RFC by 58 points to 22.
On a sunny afternoon in Troon, the U14s put on a great display to beat Marr RFC by ten tries to four.
Falkirk started the game well and scored two quick tries to lead 14-0
after ten minutes. However, Marr got into their stride and hit back with a well worked try.
The power of the Falkirk forwards and the strong defence in the back line kept Marr at bay for the majority of the game. Falkirk scored some good breakaway tries, but the offloading and support play was excellent and resulted in our biggest win so far this season.
Marr were smaller physically, but they had a very quick backline and scored four good tries by moving the ball quickly and catching Falkirk out of position. They should be commended for not giving up and playing till the end despite Falkirk's lead.
Well done to the try scorers, but this was a 15 man display and credit must also go to those who made the tackles and won the ball to allow their team mates to score the tries.
A special thank you must go Mark Cade, who after playing nearly half an hour for the U14s was asked to help the S1s who went a man down due to injury. Well done to all.
