A great opportunity to support the continued growth and development of Falkirk RFC

Falkirk Rugby Football & Sports Club – Sales & Marketing Manager

Part-time – 15 hours per week – flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Salary £9.5k - £10.5k

Falkirk Rugby Football & Sports Club is seeking an energetic Sales & Marketing professional to raise the Club’s profile, drive engagement with the local community and increase revenue in support of our ambitious plans for the future.

Working under guidance from the Club’s Board, the successful candidate will be required to generate increased income through sponsorship growth, the expansion of the Club's paid membership, maximising use of the Club’s facilities and also through the further development of our events programme. Existing member and sponsor engagement will be important aspects of the role.

The ideal candidate will be creative, have a track record of delivering against targets, and strong account management skills. An interest in Rugby would be beneficial, but is not essential. The role offers flexible hours, with an element of evening and weekend working.

In recent years, Falkirk has become one of Scotland’s premier rugby clubs. On-field success for the senior side has been combined with growth in player numbers at all ages. The Club continues to invest in its infrastructure and an Academy was launched in 2014 to enhance player development.

To maintain and build upon this momentum, the Club requires to increase its commercial revenue. The role presents an exciting opportunity within a progressive, community focussed, rugby club.

This position is part funded by the Scottish Rugby Union Club Sustainability Fund.

Please send applications to mark@crawford01.freeserve.co.uk containing a current CV and a brief (max 400 words) outlining your suitability and vision for the role.

The appointment is for an initial period of 12 months, 15 hours per week, salary £9.5-10.5k based on experience.

Closing Date for applications: 7th July 2015.
