We are delighted to announce details of our fun novelty early season fund raiser ' KwikGolf'. In partnership with Falkland Golf Club our juniors will play 9 holes around our local golf course using only a Kwik Cricket bat, Kwik Cricket ball and batting tee.Tee off time on Sunday 23rd April is 2 pm with the 9 hole round being followed by a family barbecue and refreshments at the golf club.The course will be closed during the duration of the event

The club is raising funds for Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Scotland and for our juniors the Falkland Falcons. Sponsors are asked to guess the number of 'shots' it takes to complete 9 holes of the course. The batting tee will be used to tee up the ball both on the tees and fairways with the bat also being used for putting. Juniors taking part will form one team who will play alternate shots around the 9 holes. Otherwise normal golf rules apply.

Anyone who guesses the correct number or nearest the correct number of shots will win a £50 meal voucher for The Covenanter Hotel, Falkland.(in the event that there is more than one correct/nearest guess then all names will be placed in a hat and a winner drawn). One child who takes part in 'KwikGolf' will win a Falcons cap signed by Kevin Pietersen.

There will also be a raffle and any donations of prizes would be much appreciated.
