On Saturday evening Falkland CC President Robbie Nellies welcomed a large turnout of around 100 guests to the club's annual presentation of prizes evening in Falkland Community Hall.

Following an excellent hot and cold buffet provided by club sponsor the Covenanter Hotel Robbie then introduced the club's first ever professional Manoj Parmar. Manoj went on to give an inspiring speech on his life and times including an insight into his MP Sports Academy and annual cricket tours to his home country India.

Manoj presented awards to all the juniors present as well as awards at U11, U13, U15 and U18 age groups. He was followed by Ross Moonlight, club sponsor who then proceeded to present the senior awards.

Finally, Robbie announced that as a result of outstanding service both on and off the park that Michael Watson had been awarded Life Membership of the club and duly presented him with a framed certificate.

The company then danced the night away to 'Neon Disco' to whom the club are most grateful.

A very successful evening enjoyed by all.
