Strachan cruised on to finish the innings not out with 67 runs from 35 balls. Falkland reached 280 for 5 from their 40 overs.
Freuchie replied with 168 all out after 32.5 overs. Robbie Birrell top scoring with 43. Aaron Paul returned bowling figures of 2 for 27 from 8 overs. Greg Chalmers 1 for 17 from 5 overs with Steven Meikle and Craig Hepburn both picking up 2 wickets. Falkland did give away 41 extras (including 23 wides).
