Farnham Barbarians
The concept behind the Barbarians is to try and provide competitive rugby for players returning from their studies at University, or who might be in the Farnham area for a weekend and wish to experience rugby at our club. The team also provides the opportunity to blood Academy players into the senior set up in a structured way.
In the same way that real Barbarians play, those playing for the Farnham Barbarians team are encouraged to wear their own shorts/socks, with the club providing shirts for the match. There is also an expectation that players will stay at the club afterwards to engage with the opposition over food and a drink, and not simply disappear off.
If you know that you are going to be back in Farnham on certain dates please get in contact with the Club Captain Karl Brown (bugsybrown@btinernet.com) and we will try to put together a team to fulfil a fixture.
