Farsley will entertain Stocksbridge Park Steels in the preliminary round of the FA Youth Cup this coming Thursday the 25th. Kick off is at 7.45pm and the game will be hosted at Throstle Nest. Admission is priced at £3 for adults and £2 for concessions.

Farsley were disappointed to be knocked out at the first stage last season away at Staveley and will be looking for a better showing this time around. 'We were all disappointed with last years FA Youth Cup tie when we were knocked out in the first round, so there are a few players who are itching to put it right', commented Manager Mark Jackson.

'The Stocksbridge game will be tough. They have a good set up and I know people from the area who say they have some good young players. We have a home tie, which is all we can ask for. Its an Evening game so give family and friends the chance to come down and watch as well as some first team supporters and I'm sure we can put a good show on'.
