History
In 1994 the club moved from its first home, at the Swan & Harlequin pub, to its current location on Faversham Recreation Ground.
The club was formed from an annual charity match against Sittingbourne. The Faversham squad, playing for other clubs in the area, came together each year on Boxing Day under the name of the Castaways - a name which gave the club its desert island logo. The fixture continues to this day underlying the strong sense of tradition in the Club.
Combining competitive rugby with a strong social side Faversham RUFC is the perfect place for anyone who enjoys rugby. The 1st XV play in East Kent 1 which provides a full schedule of league and cup matches within 30 minutes of Faversham.
