Help for Heroes 7's
Can you help? Volunteers needed to help organise a 7's tournament
This is a call to all players and members of Faversham RFC for help, so that the club can stage a 7’s tournament at the end of the season to raise money for the charity Help for Heroes and raise the profile of the club in the community.
The idea is to get 10 local Kent teams and 2 teams from local military units.
The tournament would be played on a Saturday May 12th.
The day would go something like this.
Start 08:30hrs
Break for lunch 12:45hrs
Finish 18:00 hrs.
There would be interspersed during the day: Youth team rugby demo and a kicking competition.
A light lunch will be provided for each team . I also hope to have a raffle with some good biggish prizes.
I am looking for volunteers from the club to help run this event, and make this day a day to remember and a great success.
I am looking for help in 4 main areas:
Entertainment & Refreshments
Security & Control
Administration & registration
Ground crew
