FAVERSHAM Town boss Ray Turner has urged the town to turn out in force for the club's historic match against Gillingham's first team.

It gives the club an opportunity to showcase our ambition.
- Ray Turner, Manager
Tomorrow's fixture against the League One club - a 7.30pm kick-off - marks the opening of Shepherd Neame Stadium's new changing pavilion and supporter facilities.
It is the Gills' first pre-season match, giving their fans their first chance to see Ady Pennock's new look squad.
And Town will have their own new signings on show after Ray brought in five new faces to strengthen his team ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.
Speaking during a video interview previewing the Gillingham fixture, Ray said: "It's a great opportunity for everyone to come down here and taste the atmosphere.
"We know we're up against it, but first and foremost, it gives the club an opportunity to showcase our ambition.
"It's a great opportunity for part-time players to have the opportunity to go out and pit their skills, their wits, and their fitness against players of that standard.
"It's the first time for their supporters to come and see their new look squad.
"I'm thoroughly looking forward to it."
Tickets cost £10 for adult, £6 for over 60s and youths, and just £3 for under 11s.
