Quick up date about The club House

Club House update

As many of you will know one of the major reasons for moving to Gang Warily was the possibility for us to build our own club house between pitch 1 and 2. We have put a lot of work into this project already having basic plans drawn up ( these can be seen in the documents tab on the Web site, I will attach to news letter). We have also had a meeting with the New Forest planning department where we presented what we would like to build, they had no real objections to the design and location.
The hold up with pushing this project to the next stage looking for funding, applying for planning permission etc, is we are still trying to finalise the lease agreement with Fawley Parish Council. Plus the club status is in the process of becoming a Limited liability club. One major item we have ticked of the list is the RFU club accreditation, now we have this it opens the door to major funding.
With the lease we are now in the final stages and its hoped to be complete by end of December January time.
In addition to the above club house plans Fawley Parish council approached the club and suggest we look at the possibility to build a club house in conjunction with the football club at the back of Gang Warily. The executive committee agreed that we should look into this to see if its a viable option. At the moment we have a basic drawing that would satisfy the Rugby and football club. Both the football club and the rugby club had a meeting and had several questions for Fawley Parish council to answer before any further work can be done with this project. We are expecting a reply back in January.
Obviously the best option would be our own club house by the pitches, but we need to explore all the options, cost, time scale, etc.
If anyone has any questions or concerns regarding any issues please get in touch.
