After a great team effort, were everyone played there part in us winning 4-0 against Barton Rovers U11 Rangers, to clinch the League 1 Trophy, for the Winter Trophy.

Matt and I are very proud coaches and parents of sons who play in a great team. This is a team who each week make me very proud and so glad to be involved with.

We got off to a nervous start, but after a great strike from Kieran A, our nerves calmed a little and we started to play some great football. In goal, Kieran made some great saves as Barton Rovers, continued to apply pressure.

In the second half we made some great tackles, chased and applied pressure and passed to each other with some great intent. Our determination and hard work paid off, with another great strike from Ryan W to add to his increasing total for the season. After some great work on the wing and linking with Ryan and Ashton, Robbie scored two great goals which put the game beyond Barton Rovers.

Even though Riley wasn't able to play today, he has played a huge part in the previous trophy games and his effort, helped to ensure that we had a chance to win the trophy event today.

After our first win last season on the 4th October away to Berg, we have had so ups and downs as a team. But today marks a great achievement and result for all the hard work each of the players puts in each week. It is nothing which we don't deserved and I so proud of them today.

I am so looking forward to continuing this journey and cannot wait for the next chapter in the U11 Colts team!!!
