FC Sarasota U18 Boys Elite

The tournament started off with a game against the Florence Soccer Association from South Carolina. The boys came out strong with a fast tempo and took command of the game eventually leading up to a 7-0 win.

Next up was a game versus Weston FC where the boys came out victorious with a 2-0 result.

The final game of the group play was against the Atlanta Fire United. Atlanta struck first with a goal at the 15 minute mark. After that the boys settled into a more ball-control style and worked their way back to tie the game 1-1 at half, and eventually taking the lead for good in the second half for a 2-1 win.

The championship game was against ACYS Santos from Orlando. ACYS had a few speedsters up front that put some pressure on the FCS back four a few times but the boys kept focus on ball control and passing to put ACYS on their heels most of the game. Final score was 3-0 in favor of FCS. Nice work from players and coach to achieve 13 goals for and only 1 against for the tournament. Gus named MVP.
