FC.ST.GEORGE 2011/12

FC will sign former player Paul Arnold from local rivals Fox & Hounds next week to bolster the weak fc squad. Arnols had a breif spell with Glasson two years , but decided to drop down a Division to play for The Fox. Arnold however featured more as a Goalkeeper, than the expected Striler role he relishes. Arnold will challenge for the role up front, as the lack of goals is causing concern as the club faces Relegation.

The Draw for the qtr final of the Tony whorlow memorial cup(all divs) has been made. Fc have the dauting task of facing Division one Leaders WESTFIELD FC away at the end of the month. Westfield dominate the top of that division with likely Favorites Witham Friary to come up with them. Westfield squad had been bolsted by players from Kings Arms who folded at the beginning of the season. Kings Arms were Fcs first league game of the season and had been favorites for the Premier league title.

The Funeral of 20 year old Niall Stewart , who died last week, will take place this monday january 16th at Christchurch at 13.00. Fc's Manager Jeff Glasson and Captain Mike Payne will represent the club. The family have asked for all his friends to turn up wearing FOOTBALL TOPS , TRACKIES and Trainers, a trade mark of Nialls . R.I.P NIALL !!!
