Speaking to the Herald Newspaper following the close of the 2017/18 season, Dave Poulson confirmed he could yet stay in management.

FC Stratford, who had to fit their last sixteen leagues games inside a forty five day window, look set to finish third in the Midland Football League Division Three table.

Following a 5 - 3 win over Central Ajax and a 4 - 0 win over Enville Athletic in the final two fixtures, Poulson mentioned he could change his mind, "I'm going to have a chat with a few people, but I'll probably stay in football in some form. We'll see."

Nick Cox, James Gifford, Ash Wilkes and Joe Taylor scored the goals in FC Stratford's 4 - 0 win over Enville, a game which Poulson felt was comfortable, "It was pretty much one-way traffic.

"It was a comfortable game for us - they came here to sit in and keep their shape. Once we got our first goal, that was pretty much it." said Poulson.

Poulson looks set to have potentially guided FC Stratford to their highest finish in Midland Football League Division Three, bettering the fourth placed finish of the 2015/16 season.

Alcester Town can still pip Poulson's side to third however if they were to win their final game of the season against Leamington Hibernian by twenty two goals.
