Code of Conduct
1. Club Membership:
These club rules form a binding agreement between each member of the club.
Members of the club include all players signed on and registered to play for the club and all Club Officials.
Club Officials are the Fixture Secretary, Club Secretary, Treasurer, Team Manager and Coach.
2. Election of Club Officials:
Elections shall be held each year at the club annual general meeting (AGM) to fill each of the Club Official posts.
Any member of the club may stand for election to any of the Club Official posts.
A member of the club may hold more than one Club Official post.
3. Finances:
Club fees shall be paid by monthly standing order at a level agreed by the club officials. Any player in arrears will not be considered for team selection until it has been paid in full.
All fines issued by the league for yellow and red cards shall be payable by the player involved. The player will not be considered for team selection until the fine has been paid in full.
All cheques from the club bank account shall be signed by both the Secretary and Treasurer.
A brief set of accounts showing the club finances shall be presented at the AGM by the Treasurer
Any member of the club contributing towards the club’s finances may have access to an account statement subject to 7 days notice.
4. Player Commitment:
All players are expected to make every effort to attend all training, matches and club social events.
If a player can’t make a training session or match then he must let the Team Manager know at (or before) the previous training session or match. Failure to do this may result in a match ban as agreed by the Club Officials.
Injured players are expected to watch all training sessions and matches. If a player does not attend midweek training due to injury then he will not be available for selection on that Sunday.
Players are to protect the image of the club and treat each club member equally and with respect. Failure could lead to disciplinary action agreed by the Club Officials.
5. Match Day Commitment:
For all home games, players and staff will be expected to arrive at the ground at or before 10.10am. Players will be expected to be pitch-side, changed and ready for pre-match warm up no later than 10.20am. This will allow 10 minutes to prepare the pitch.
For all home games, players and staff will be expected to assist in preparing the pitch e.g. placing corner posts, fixing nets to goals.
For all away games, players and staff will be expected to arrive at the ground at or before 10.20am. Players will be expected to be pitch-side, changed and ready for pre-match warm up no later than 10.30am.
Failure to observe the above timeframes may result in the player not being considered for that day’s match subject to the managers discretion.
6. Club Official Commitment:
Club Officials are to treat each club member fairly, equally, with respect and according to these club rules.
Club Officials are to dedicate the time and effort necessary to carry out their duty to the best of their ability. Failure could lead to a request by the other Club Officials to stand down from their post at any time.
The Team Manager is committed to arranging training sessions, team and tactics selection.
The Treasurer is committed to control the club finances and is to allow any member of the club to view the club accounts.
The Club Secretary is committed to completing all administration required by the league.
The Fixture Secretary is committed to ensure the opposition and referee are contacted and organised for each home fixture.
At least two Club Officials are to attend all league meetings as representatives.
These club rules are to be reviewed regularly by the Club Officials. Changes may be made to these rules if the majority of Club Officials are in agreement.
