Some Important Updates:
1. Friendlies - Please note that no friendlies can be arranged without completion of the correct League Request Form - this can be downloaded from the Yorkshire Junior Site or I can forward you one, it must be fully completed and then given to myself in order to put in the request - if the league don't approve the friendly it cannot be played. Remember you still need to complete the correct match day form for these matches.
2. League Rules Updates - There are some league rule changes for 2018, once the fully updated information is available I will forward onto you all a hard copy but main ones:
All coaches must produce their ID card to be checked by both teams TLM before matches are played and sign match day form to confirm this was done - failure will be £20 fine.
Transfer window closing date 30th September
The 4 matchday officials on the team sheet are only allowed within the Technical Area (10 metres either side of half way line) and must NOT PATROL the touchline - all must wear correct colour Hi Vis : Yellow for coaching staff : Green for First Aid. All subs must cover playing shirt
All teams are allowed 2 postponements which can be used any time during season (except for cup matches) - Forms need to be completed with myself
Max score to be published on LeagueNet is 50 points
U12 - U18 must log score online using LeagueNet
U10 & U11 to log match using LeagueNet
U9 & U8 TBC
U7 A text from HOME team to fixture secretary to confirm game played - no result needed.
All these must be done by 6pm for Saturday matches or 2pm for Sunday matches
All age groups must TEXT if the game is abandoned or there are any RED cards.
3. For Primary Mini/Mod/Transition (U7-U11) regarding festivals/tournaments - RFL rules are that matches are played for enjoyment where basic skills will be taught to all players. A memento of the day may be given out to all participants at festivals (competitive tournaments are not permitted under any circumstances)
4. Thank you to all who attended the 1st Sign On Evening - it went smoothly (once we got into the club). I will hold another one before the end of January after which anyone still needing to sign on will have to do online with a deadline date tbc. 2017 cards can be used still for friendly matches and until the 2nd match of the season then new cards must be used - if you don't have a card for a player then they CANNOT play a friendly match.
Thanks, Nikki - Junior Secretary
