Feltham put a spirited performance against a strong Old A's side.

Feltham Vs Old A's has been a tough game for the clubs over the past few years and has always been a thriller to watch.
After the previous weeks performance Feltham had a lot they needed to amend, and it looked promising.
Feltham's defence was closer to what it has been in the past, a wall of blue and gold with no weak points. Some great tackles throughout the game really made Old A's work for the points they got. The likes of Triangle Dave, Muzzy, Jim Ball, Tom Williams and Nath Walton really boosted spirits. Although Old A's pounced on the opportunities they had Feltham didn't gift any, mainly through poor decisions and penalties Old A's managed to play in the right areas of the field.
Felthams attack however was ever relenting, with a lot more of the game played in the opposition half Old A's Defence managed to keep Feltham afar. Some great ball retention from the forwards, and the front 3 and locks, (Even Branty hit a few rucks) really allowed Feltham to show what they can do.
However the conditions did not sell themselves to the traditional way Feltham play, a wet ball and some 50/50 passes really meant that Feltham were not clinical enough in the right areas of the paddock.
Everybody involved really new there was a game on their hands, and a singular try from a great bit of individual brilliance meant Muzzy was over the line.
Feltham showed promising improvements and hope to build on this moving forward.

MOTM; Tough one this week with great performances from Jim, T.Dave, T.Williams, A.Knight, Muzzy but as much as it is painful to say it went to Nath Walton
DOTD; Easy choice after nominating himself to take the ball carry 5 meters from the line on a penalty and it bounces off his belly..... Branty
