Hi everyone and welcome to the Finchley U7s
Finchley U7's is a fantastic place to introduce your kids to mini-rugby.
The core spitit at Finchley RFC is based around;
1. Learning to play Rugby and all of the ethics that go with rugby ie. team play, fair play,
encouragement and respect for authority
2. Getting the guys fit, you will be very surprised to see the difference in your child (if they have not
played before) from the start of the season compared to the end where we take part in competitions
3. Last but definitely not least “Having fun” and enjoying the sessions with a smile on your face
The season tends to follow this path, firstly getting the guys to learn the real basics of catching and
passing the ball, developing various running skills , then dependent of progress, towards the second half
of the season preparation for the various tournaments that take place (this is where it gets a bit more
exciting and where you can see just how much the guys have come on).
If you are interested in joining, why not come along to a Sunday training session (10-11am) and introduce yourself to Ben Mann, the lead coach.
Please see the fixture list to make sure that the U7's will be there. There is training every week when there is not a match.
