Simon's Diamond Geezers g(r)ow up a notch!
This year Simon's Diamond Geezers will move on to 9 a-side contact rugby, so there will be lots of new skills to learn and practice. You will learn to tackle, ruck and maul, do 3-man scrums and line-outs to name a few.
The aim is to make each training session fun and enjoyable by coaching all these new skills through playing different games.
On match days we will aim to get each player as much match practice as possible. I would also like to encourage both players and parents to spend some time with our friends and opponents in the clubhouse after the match.
I would also encourage mums and/or dads to halp Maureen in the kitchen on Sunday mornings - do not be shy!!
I hope you all have a very enjoyable season with us here at Finchley.
