Welcome back to Finchley RFC
I'd like to extend a warm welcome from Finchley under 10's to players old and new for the 2011-12 season.
With the rugby world cup about to start we expect there to be a lot of youngsters wanting to have a go at this great sport. So if you aspire to be a Richie McCaw, Johnny Wilkinson or Brian O'Driscoll come along to Finchley. We've even got a place for those of you whose playing days are a mere memory but can still give something back to an up and coming club like ours, so if you can help out in any way please let us know.
This season we aim to have a lot of fun and enjoyment and build each players ability along the way, we hope to achieve this through lots of different small sided competitive games. We also have some matches against other clubs and a few festivals where we expect good sporting behaviour from both player and parent alike. The only change this season is the introduction of competitive 3 man scrums and line-outs, hopefully we can take this on board quickly and build on the successes we achieved last season, as we have a lot to live up to as team of the year.
