Welcome to the new season!
After an extremely successful season last year we’re looking forward to the 2010/11 rugby season. Over the past couple of years we have concentrated on operating an all-inclusive squad, trying to ensure enjoyment for the players and an opportunity for them to play as often
(and in as many positions) as possible. Whilst those remain our guiding principles this year, we also recognise that the U11 year will be more challenging technically for the players (with the introduction of kicking, second-rows etc.) and we need to ensure that they are equipped to deal with, and thrive in, these new demands. However, what remains the most important thing for us as coaches is to instil a sense of achievement and enjoyment in all the players and a long standing love of the game.
