Al Gliksten, who played for Finchley RFC from U8 to U16 , has at 19 been offered and accepted a professional contract with Saracens. This is a fantastic achievement for him personally, his family and the Club. Al came up to the club with his family on Sunday to inform us and to thank us for all the coaching and support we have provided in his formative rugby years.
We wish Al well and look forward to seeing him play in the Premiership.

Finchley50 Classic Bike Ride 2016 - the Finchley50 Classic Bike Ride 2016 offers something for cyclists of all ages and abilities with two different routes, of varying distance, covering the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside on Sunday May 1, 2016.
There is fun to be had for the whole family on the 25 mile ride, while the more hardy cycling enthusiasts who want a bigger challenge, can take on the 50 mile route.
The start and finish venue for the 2016 event will again be at Finchley RFC.
The Finchley50 is now in its fourth year and is becoming more and more popular with the numbers increasing every year.
From its humble beginnings in 2013 with just a few club members from Finchley Rugby Club raising funds for the club house roof, it is now a must do ride in the North London cycling calendar. Come along and enjoy the day sign up here

Kitchen rota – please note that kitchen rota volunteers are required every week to assist at 9.15am. The U13`s are scheduled to assist this weekend.
* Parents - We will typically need 4 adults to support the kitchen throughout the morning (09.15–3.30)
* Players - We would also like the players from the duty squad to help by clearing tables and rubbish inside and outside the clubhouse and sweeping out changing rooms after games have finished.
