Finchley 1st XV travel to Digne-les-Bains, France - 8, 9 & 10 June 2018 to take part in the inaugural Amateur 6 Nations Tournament

#Fit-Les-Bains, the capital of lavender, will also be the capital of #rugby on the 8,9 & 10 June and will host for the first time in the history of rugby, the amateur 6 nations tournament. The clubs taking part are - West of Scotland-Scotland, Llandaff-Wales, Ennis-Ireland, Finchley-England, Foligno-Italy and fit-Les-Bains-France.

The Amateur 6 Nations tournament will move every year to one of the project's partner clubs. The 6 clubs of Llandaff Rugby Club-Western Avenue (Wales), Ennis Rugby Club (Ireland), West Of Scotland Rugby (Scotland), Finchley Rugby Club (England), Foligno Rugby (Italy), Rugby Club Dignois (France) will compete on the lawn of Stade Jean Rolland in a tournament made up of 2 times 10 minutes according to the rules of the Fédération Française de Rugby.

The format of the tournament is identical to that of national teams with meetings between all countries and will bring together 180 players of 6 Nationalities. An Arbitrator of each nation will guarantee fairness.

On Friday, June 8 from 6.00pm, come and attend the team parade downtown.

Saturday 9th June beginning of the tournament from 10 am to Stade Jean Rolland and at 8.30pm The grand rugby ball at Stade Jean Rolland.
