A Game of 2 Halves

Five Ways Travelled to Bromyard for what is and we hope to be an annual fixture on a (for the first time in 2013) warmish sunny day.

Five Ways were for the 2nd game in a row able to put out what was a very strong side which showed in the 1st half with a dominant first half performance firstly from the Forwards to get the backs some great go forward ball which they untilised well in scoring 4 tries in the first half and securing the 4 trie bonus point before the 40 mins was up with great tries from all over the back at Fly Half, Inside Centre and Hooker! for once while available Ono was not the go to man to score the tries but did some great work in setting up a couple and now shows that we are a true 20 man unit when we get all our players available.

That was the positive part, losing PT just before and half time seemed to spur on Bromyard and they came back desperate to themselves secure a 4 try bonus point and to help them keep in touch to survive relegation and were getting very close right up to the final minute. Another Score for Five Ways by Phil in the 2nd half gave the team enough breathing space but ill disipline at the breakdown resulted in far to many penalties and with 3 officials wired up any indescretion was picked up straight away.

Final result was a 34-17 Victory 5 points in the bag and helps our survival with 4 games left to play.
